Design is the intention to create, fashion, execute, or construct according to laid out plans, principles, or guidelines.
Design achieves the goal of problem-solving and also helps to improve already existing solutions which will then be used by people.

My journey into Product Design began with my ability to have empathy for the user. I’ve always tried to make things better in any way I can, so it would be effectively used by people. In these few months trying to understand Product Design, I understood that getting to use the tools/software wasn’t the issue, but understanding the principles that guide the production of a usable product. I decided to go on a journey in search of answers; while searching, I found the WeJapa Internship and decided to register with expectations that I’ll gain clarity in the Design thingy so I can apply the knowledge across various fields I might find myself.

So far, it has been a very resourceful internship as resources have been shared to help facilitate the growth of interns and the workspace is pretty much organized which I guess will further help remove any bias that may hinder growth

My expectations are high and I hope by the time the internship ends in 3 months’ time, I’ll be better than when I came in.
Wish me luck😙
